MOVED TO SAT MARCH 30TH.
Victory Church and the Victory Family YMCA are teaming up again to host the Peninsula’s largest Helicopter Egg Drop. The event will take place on Sat., March 30th, from 11:00am-12:30pm on Victory Church’s 18-acre campus, located on the York-Poquoson line at 410 E Yorktown Road, Yorktown.
In addition to a helicopter flying over the field dropping 1000’s of eggs, families are invited to participate in and enjoy activities such as face painting, bounce houses, and games. Food trucks will also be on-site for families to purchase lunch during the event.
Due to limited parking on site, participants are invited to park at the Poquoson City Hall parking lot (500 City Hall Ave, Poquoson, VA) starting at 10:30am to take a shuttle to Victory Church.
Registration is limited to the first 500 people so don’t wait!

What about parking?
Very limited parking is available at Victory Church, so the YMCA will provide shuttle services from the Poquoson City Hall. Shuttles will begin at 10:30am from the Victory Family YMCA to Victory Church. We will continue shuttling throughout the event. City Hall Address: 500 City Hall Ave, Poquoson, VA 23662
Is the Egg Drop free?
Yes! We do ask that you register online, there will also be food vendors on site with food for purchase.

What is the role of the Victory Family YMCA?

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
No ID but your children must be 12 years and younger to collect eggs.

What happens if there is bad weather?
In the case of inclement weather and the helicopter cannot fly the eggs will be hand-tossed onto the field and the egg hunt will remain scheduled.
